Janelle Samara lives in Kansas City, Missouri. When she's not busy writing, her favorite pastimes include devouring classic books on her tablet, growing organic vegetables, and creating new recipes for her upcoming cookbook. When she needs to get out of the house, she has many varied interests, ranging from watching ballet to playing disc golf with friends. She also loves to continue learning and frequently listens to many educational podcasts such as the How Stuff Works family of podcasts. For the lighter side of things, she also enjoys the Maximum Fun network.
Her debut novel, OUR ONLY HOPE, was released on January 30th, 2016, from Black Opal Books. Her second novel, OUR NEW HOPE, was released on July 8, 2017. She is a member of the International Thriller Writers and attends their annual conference, ThrillerFest, in New York City each July.
